Position Overview

Join Jodha Transport Ltd. as a dedicated Truck Driver responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely. This role requires a commitment to customer service and adherence to safety regulations.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role
  • Licenses: AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
Work Environment

Work within a Transportation Company that values professionalism and teamwork. The position may involve working in shifts or on-call.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and modify routes utilizing GPS and other navigation tools to enhance fuel efficiency and reduce emissions.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism.
  • Coordinate travel itineraries and make necessary reservations.
  • Collaborate with a partner in a two-person team or convoy.
  • Handle loading and unloading of cargo.
  • Ensure compliance with international transport regulations by obtaining necessary permits.
  • Operate and maintain trucks, conducting thorough inspections of vehicles.
  • Manage payments and receipts for transported goods.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs as needed.
  • Document cargo details, service hours, distance traveled, and fuel usage.
  • Ensure the safety and security of cargo through proper tarping techniques.
Additional Information

This is a permanent position requiring 30 to 45 hours of work per week. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada and may need to relocate for this opportunity.
