Logistics Operations Manager

As a key member of our team, the Supply Chain Manager plays a vital role in the operational success of our beverage division. This position involves leading the planning team responsible for the supply chain of various products, ensuring efficient production and distribution processes. Collaboration with manufacturing, warehousing, sales, demand planning, global procurement, suppliers, and logistics is essential for achieving optimal results.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Supply Chain Manager will:
- Utilize advanced planning tools such as Avail, AP, BO, MRP, and SAP to:
- Oversee production planning across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Manage product delivery from external partners and mixing centers.
- Analyze production plans, forecasts, and inventory levels for both finished goods and raw materials.
- Ensure accuracy in long-term planning schedules through effective reporting.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including co-packers, demand planning teams, and procurement.
- Ensure timely updates of data to facilitate seamless planning processes.
- Conduct daily reviews of supply chain performance, identifying root causes of issues and collaborating with teams to mitigate risks.
- Plan and coordinate product launches effectively.
- Monitor project milestones and communicate regularly about network issues and orders.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain planning or related fields.
- A Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, business, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, capable of integrating data to produce actionable insights.
- Understanding of the connections between production plans, operational goals, and customer service.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills to foster collaboration across various functions.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with supply chain systems, particularly Avail, BO, and SAP, is highly desirable.
- Ability to think tactically and strategically to drive supply chain success.
