We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at Ontario Inc. as a key member of our culinary operations.
Job Summary:The Head Chef will be responsible for leading our kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality food products. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires strong leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and implement menus, ensuring that they are aligned with the company's culinary vision and standards.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they meet the required standards.
- Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and quality, ensuring that they are within budget and meet the company's quality standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring that they provide high-quality products and services.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the kitchen operations are aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to train and develop kitchen staff.
