We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Helper to join our team at s.s.w construction Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will assist skilled tradespersons in various aspects of construction, including loading and transporting materials, erecting and dismantling forms and scaffolding, and mixing and pouring materials.
Responsibilities- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
- Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
- Assist skilled tradespersons in various construction tasks.
- Level earth to fine grade specifications.
- Assist in demolishing buildings and cleaning up debris.
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
- Physically demanding work environment.
- Ability to handle heavy loads and work at heights.
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Own tools and equipment, including steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, uniform, cellular phone, and safety vest.
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and ability to work as part of a team.
- Permanent employment opportunity.
- 40 hours per week.
- English language of work.
