About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Executive Officer and General Manager to join our team at YYC FLOORING SOLUTIONS. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and growth of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy
    • Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to achieve business objectives.
    • Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, customers, and partners.
  • Operational Management
    • Oversee the allocation of resources, including human, financial, and material resources.
    • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Human Resources
    • Develop and implement human resources strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
    • Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment that supports diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Communication and Representation
    • Represent the organization in negotiations, official functions, and other external activities.
    • Develop and maintain effective communication channels with employees, customers, and stakeholders.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees
    • Develop and implement diversity and cross-cultural training programs to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Support for Youths
    • Develop and implement awareness training programs to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Support for Indigenous People
    • Develop and implement cultural competency training programs to create a welcoming work environment.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior leadership role.
  • Language
    • Fluent in English.
  • Work Arrangement
    • Permanent full-time position.
  • Work Hours
    • 40 hours per week.
