We are seeking a highly skilled Director or Senior Director to oversee our initiatives in scientific research and experimental development at MNP, a prominent accounting and consulting firm in Canada. In this capacity, you will offer strategic counsel to CFOs, vice presidents, and financial controllers in the high-tech and manufacturing industries regarding government incentives. Your key responsibilities will encompass advising clients on qualifying activities and expenditures, preparing applications for tax credits, and overseeing various projects while adhering to deadlines and budgetary constraints.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- A bachelor's degree in accounting; a master's degree is advantageous.
- CPA designation is preferred.
- Proficiency in both French and English.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, specifically in preparing R&D and E-Business Development tax credit applications.
- A results-oriented mindset with a solid understanding of financial services operations.
- Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
