Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement credit risk management strategies to minimize exposure and maximize returns
  • Lead a team of credit professionals in coaching and career development
  • Deliver regular credit updates to the Executive Leadership team, highlighting trends and opportunities
  • Collaborate with operations to lead credit and collection review meetings, recommending accounts for legal and third-party collection
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to optimize the Order to Cash process
  • Maintain industry knowledge and awareness of best practices related to credit risk management

Qualifications:

  • University or master's degree in business
  • 10+ years' experience in credit risk management, with a CCP designation considered an asset
  • Proven team leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of Construction Credit Law, Bond Claims, and Bankruptcy Act
  • Excellent analytical skills and acumen in reading and analyzing Financial Statements
  • Experience leading process improvement initiatives
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and time management
