Job Summary

The Catering Services Worker plays a vital role in supporting the event operations team in delivering exceptional catering services and events within the location. This role involves setting up catering and event services according to client requests, transporting equipment and supplies, serving guests during events, and breaking down and cleaning up after events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up catering and event services according to client requests and banquet event orders.
  • Transport and deliver catering food and beverages with all necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Set up chairs, tables, buffet lines, and other event equipment as requested in banquet event orders.
  • Replenish food and beverage products during events.
  • Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of food service areas during events.
  • Pick up and clean up food and beverage deliveries after service.
  • Break down and clean the area after the conclusion of events and return equipment to its proper storage.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all guests.
  • Follow safety policies and procedures.
Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Previous catering experience.
  • Able to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Must follow the required dress code.
  • Must be available to work event-based hours.
  • Must be able to complete Food Handling and Alcohol Service training as required.

This role may have physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
