Job Summary

The Catering Services Worker plays a vital role in supporting the event operations team in delivering exceptional catering services and events within the location. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities


Set up and maintain catering and event service areas according to client requests and banquet event orders

Transport and deliver catering food and beverages, as well as vital supplies and equipment

Ensure the appearance and cleanliness of food service areas during events

Provide excellent customer service to all guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner

Follow safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment

Collaborate with the event operations team to ensure seamless event execution and customer satisfaction

Maintain accurate records and reports of event activities and customer feedback

Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in food and beverage service, customer service, and event operations

Requirements


Previous customer service experience preferred

Previous catering experience preferred

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to lift, bend, and move equipment and supplies as needed

Availability to work event-based hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Ability to complete Food Handling and Alcohol Service training as required

This role may have physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
