Job Summary:

Emterra Group is seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Class 3 Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in collecting and processing waste and recyclables, ensuring our communities remain clean and safe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Adhere to general safety practices and guidelines for safe load securement
  • Follow dispatch instructions and travel to and from bottle depots to collect recyclables
  • Unload full loads at designated drop-off points

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 3 driver's license with air brake endorsement and clean abstract
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with experience operating B-trains, Front-Ends, roll-offs, body jobs, and dump trucks
  • Related training or experience operating heavy equipment, such as excavators, mobile shears, and material handlers, is an asset
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Flexibility with work shifts and ability to work overtime

Work Schedule and Compensation:

Full-time drivers work Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 4:30pm, with opportunities for overtime. Part-time drivers have flexible schedules between Monday and Friday, with full shift days of 6:00am to 4:30pm. Compensation is dependent on experience, with a wage range of $23-$25 per hour.
