Warehouse Technology and Infrastructure Lead

Quantum Technology Recruiting Inc. (QTR) is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Technology and Infrastructure Lead to oversee the technical aspects of our warehouse systems and infrastructure. This leadership role involves managing a team of professionals who provide technical guidance to ensure the smooth implementation and maintenance of Warehouse Systems and Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership and vendor management, with a focus on Network systems, Operating Systems (e.g., OpenVMS), and technologies such as Manhattan, Dematic, and Wonderware.
  • Oversee the technical aspects of warehouse systems and infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in people leadership and vendor management.
  • Proficiency with one or more of the following technologies:
  • Warehouse Management Systems (e.g., Manhattan, MIF, ROC, ROCON)
  • Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) and SCADA solutions (e.g., Ignition, Wonderware)
  • Operating Systems: OpenVMS, Windows Server, Linux
  • Scripting and automation skills (e.g., DCL, Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Real-time control and automation systems
  • Exposure to PLCs and other warehouse floor technologies
  • Understanding of various database systems, including basic MS Access
  • Experience collaborating effectively with warehouse staff.
  • Specific experience with OpenVMS is highly desirable.
