We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Meineke Car Care Center. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting and repairing diesel engines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and Inspect Equipment: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify faults and malfunctions in diesel engines and equipment.
- Diagnose and Repair Faults: Diagnose the root cause of faults and malfunctions, and repair or replace defective parts as needed.
- Test and Verify Repairs: Test repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturer specifications and is functioning properly.
- Maintain Equipment: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, to prevent wear and tear.
- Verify Emission Control Systems: Ensure that emission control systems are functioning properly and make repairs as needed.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
- Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service and ensure that all work meets customer expectations.
- Flexibility: Be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Reliability: Demonstrate a strong work ethic and be reliable in completing tasks and meeting deadlines.
