About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Meineke Car Care Center. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and inspect diesel engines and equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
  • Adjust and repair or replace defective parts
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work
  • Service attachments and working tools
  • Verify and repair emission control systems
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in diesel engine repair
  • Permanent employment
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
