About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Meineke Car Care Center. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting and Inspection: Use computerized and other testing equipment to detect faults and malfunctions in diesel engines and equipment.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Adjust and repair or replace defective parts, and test repaired equipment for proper performance.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, and perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubricating equipment.
  • Customer Focus: Provide excellent customer service, and work with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, flexibility, and reliability.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
