Position Overview

As a Kitchen Sanitation Specialist at REAL CANADIAN PIZZA & DONAIR INC., you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, including dishwashers, mats, and waste disposal units.
  • Efficiently clear and clean dining areas, including tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Operate dishwashing machines to ensure all dishes, glassware, and utensils are properly washed.
  • Organize and store clean dishes in designated areas.
  • Manually wash and sanitize dishes and kitchen items as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, and appliances.
  • Safely handle and store cleaning supplies.
  • Dispose of kitchen waste and garbage responsibly.
  • Perform knife sharpening and other necessary kitchen tasks.
  • Keep floors clean by sweeping, mopping, and polishing.
  • Prepare vegetables and fruits by washing, peeling, and cutting.
Transportation and Travel
  • Must have own transportation.
  • Public transportation options are available.
  • Travel expenses are not covered by the employer.
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced and physically demanding work setting.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Overtime may be required.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.
