Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Can Roots Carrier Inc. as a key member of our logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and optimize routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions using GPS equipment and computer systems.
- Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and perform preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and efficiency.
- Communicate with central dispatch and record important information such as cargo details, hours of service, and fuel consumption.
- Ensure the safety and security of cargo during transportation.
- Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment.
- Reliability and strong judgment.
This is a permanent position with a regular schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
