Truck Driver

Smalsar Enterprises Inc is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Transportation: Load and unload goods, obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes, and oversee the condition of the vehicle.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
- Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Documentation: Maintain a driver logbook, inspection report, and trip reports.
- Licenses and Certifications: Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks) and a valid driver's license.
- Experience: Experience as a truck driver is an asset.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Relocation Costs: Relocation costs will be covered by the employer.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel cross-border, travel for extended periods, and work overtime.
