**Registration and Licensure**
Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant is required. Successful completion of the Palliative Response Team training program or equivalent is also necessary.
**Work Experience**
At least 2 years of recent nursing experience in a designated Palliative Care/Hospice program or Community Nursing program is required.
**Additional Requirements**
A valid BC Driver's License is also required.

The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing is essential.
- **Work Organization and Prioritization**
Demonstrated ability to organize assigned workload and set priorities is required.
- **Interpersonal Skills**
Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with a variety of internal and external contacts, including co-workers, physicians, community agency representatives, patients, residents and families is necessary.
- **Physical Ability**
Physical ability to perform the duties of the position is required.
