Job Summary

We are seeking a Family Practitioner to join our team at the CareBridge Clinic in the Central Duncan Area. As a member of our inter-professional team, you will provide regular primary care to patients and participate in an after-hours call group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary care to patients in the clinic and in the community
  • Participate in an inter-professional team with Nurse Practitioners, other FPs, medical office assistants, registered nurses, social workers, and behavioral health consultants
  • Share after-hours coverage with other practitioners at the clinic
Benefits

As a Family Practitioner with Island Health, you may be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidy Agreement (RSA), including:

  • Retention Premium = 4.2%
  • Retention Flat Fee = $6.80
  • Recruitment Incentive (pro-rated) = $10
  • Relocation Costs Reimbursement up to a maximum of $15
  • CME: Years 3 & 4 = $2,000/annum, After 4 years = $4,000/annum
