We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Service Worker to join our team at Annapolis County Municipal Housing Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support and services to individuals in a group home setting.
Key Responsibilities- Client Support: Provide assistance with daily living activities, including housekeeping and food preparation.
- Rehabilitation Programs: Develop and implement specialized rehabilitation programs to support clients in achieving their goals.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping.
- Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflict situations in a professional and respectful manner.
- Supervision: Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses.
- Transportation: Accompany clients to appointments and social outings.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Certifications: Behaviour management Certification, Core competencies for public health in Canada Course, Developmental services worker (DSW) Training, Mandt System training, Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate, Medication Administration Certificate, First Aid Certificate.
- Language: English.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, attention to detail.
- Physical Capabilities: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) weight handling.
