Position Overview

As a CT Imaging Specialist within the Diagnostic Imaging Department, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care through high-quality imaging services. Your expertise will be essential in executing diagnostic studies in line with established protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting CT imaging procedures and related invasive techniques as specified in the protocol manuals, including the administration of contrast media; performing image reconstruction; and ensuring that all medical imaging and ancillary equipment operates safely and effectively to provide optimal patient care.
  • Documenting procedures in writing as required.
  • Carrying out patient assessments and maintaining accurate patient records.
Qualifications:
  • Current registration with CMRITO.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Recent experience in contrast CT is essential.
  • X-ray experience is advantageous.
  • Certification in contrast injection is mandatory.
  • Completion of cross-sectional anatomy courses is required.
  • Experience in interventional radiology is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective organizational skills to manage workload.
  • Physical capability to perform job duties as expected.
  • Proficiency in operating necessary equipment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
  • Commitment to embodying the values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation, and Collaboration.
  • Demonstrated reliability in attendance and punctuality.
  • Willingness to travel and work across various sites as needed.
Additional Information:

Hours: This position involves a combination of days, evenings, and nights, with 8-hour shifts that may include weekends and statutory holidays, subject to operational needs.

SALARY:
Minimum: $36.84 per hour
Maximum: $50.24 per hour
