Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to join our team at Independent Glass and Contracting. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, ensuring smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and resolving work problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Coordination
    • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient production processes.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on production progress and any issues that may arise.
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be performed on equipment and machinery to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Training and Development
    • Train workers in duties and policies to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
    • Arrange training for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in areas such as production techniques and safety procedures.
  • Performance Management
    • Conduct performance reviews to assess the performance of staff and provide feedback and coaching to improve their performance.
  • Operational Logistics
    • Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization to ensure efficient production processes and minimize waste.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
