About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Plumber Journeyman/Woman to join our team at Heat Tech Mechanical. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in various commercial, industrial, and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair plumbing fixtures and systems in accordance with blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Supervise and instruct apprentices in the installation and repair of plumbing systems.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Schedule personnel, tools, and equipment to ensure efficient and effective work.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing to ensure optimal performance.
  • Supervise other workers to ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
  • Plumber Trade Certification and Natural Gas License.
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues and clients.
