Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Journeyman Plumber to join our team at Heat Tech Mechanical. This is a permanent position that offers a dynamic work environment across various sectors.

Key Details

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in plumbing
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in diverse settings, including:

Willingness to relocate and work on construction sites is essential.

Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include:

  • Installing plumbing fixtures and systems for domestic, commercial, and industrial applications
  • Repairing plumbing systems and fixtures
  • Interpreting blueprints and specifications to establish plumbing layouts
  • Training and supervising apprentices
  • Locating and marking positions for pipe connections and fixtures
  • Cutting openings in walls and floors for plumbing installations
  • Joining pipes using various methods including soldering and welding
  • Coordinating personnel, tools, and equipment
  • Testing pipes for leaks
  • Determining piping system requirements
  • Measuring, cutting, and bending pipes to specifications
Qualifications

Applicants must possess:

  • Plumber Trade Certification
  • Natural Gas License
  • Plumber Red Seal Certificate
Transportation Requirements

A vehicle will be provided by the employer, and a valid driver's license is required.

Physical Demands

This role is physically demanding and requires:
