In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various routes. Your duties will encompass operating and maintaining commercial trucks, ensuring compliance with all regulations, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is in optimal condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Load and unload goods securely, utilizing proper techniques and equipment.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Obtain necessary permits and documentation for transporting cargo on international routes.
  • Adhere to all applicable traffic laws and regulations.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks and report any mechanical issues.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a valid AZ class license with an Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Have experience operating flatbed trucks in long-haul and national transportation settings.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain a clean driving record and commitment to safety.
