Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at ROAD STAR TRUCK LINE LTD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation and be able to operate a variety of vehicles safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring that all cargo is properly secured and accounted for.
  • Operate Vehicles: Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition, performing any necessary repairs or maintenance tasks.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring that all parties are informed of any issues or delays.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, maintaining accurate records for auditing and reporting purposes.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Certifications: AZ class license, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Driver's License (Class 1 or A), Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, with a strong background in transportation and vehicle operation.
