We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Interload Truck Service Ltd.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Logistics: Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations to ensure efficient transportation.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, performing necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Record Keeping: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Willing to train, with a strong desire to learn and grow in the role.
- Physical Demands: Handling heavy loads, physically demanding, and sitting for extended periods.
- Language: English.
- Work Schedule: 40 to 60 hours per week.
