Paladin Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist to join our Monitoring Operation team. This is a full-time position that requires independent and flexible scheduling, as well as the ability to travel within North America.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the research, selection, and implementation of technology for a redundant alarm monitoring operational infrastructure.
- Perform testing to identify vulnerabilities in individual systems, processes, and alarm monitoring facilities.
- Conduct surveys of physical structural and network infrastructure to develop countermeasures for vulnerabilities.
- Perform audits and act as a subject matter expert for implementation and review of industry-wide best practices and standards.
- Document detailed system features, requirements, and data flow diagrams to support the current and future roadmap.
- Provide front-line IT support for workstations, receivers, and telephone infrastructure in the alarm monitoring operation.
- Be available for on-call duties before or after regular hours, or on days not regularly scheduled to work.
- 3 years of experience troubleshooting various IT systems (Microsoft).
- Desire for continuous learning and professional development.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and documentation practices.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Accountable, detail-oriented, and adaptable.
- Effective multi-tasking ability with competing timelines and deliverables.
- Ability to work effectively independently and within a team in a collaborative environment.
- Salary range: $55,000 - $65,000 (dependent on experience).
