Industrial Equipment Maintenance Technician at Teknion

In this role, you will take on a range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the optimal performance of our production machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to safety protocols and comply with OHSA regulations and company standards
  • Interpret blueprints and schematics to guide work processes
  • Diagnose and rectify problems with various machines and equipment
  • Execute preventative maintenance activities
  • Assess machinery for irregularities and operational issues
  • Fulfill work orders assigned by production teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation records
  • Implement machinery modifications to facilitate improvement initiatives
  • Report incidents and provide first aid when necessary
  • Support fellow technicians as needed
  • Initiate and conclude machinery operations before and after production shifts
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment
  • Meet maintenance quality and safety objectives
Required Skills:
  • Strong commitment to safety, adhering to all company safety protocols
  • Proficient in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and understand pneumatic systems
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Willingness to work various shifts and overtime as required
