Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Mettler Toledo. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing industry-related products, performing calibrations and preventative maintenance duties, resolving first-line customer service issues, and accurately completing service reports in the city of Mississauga and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Repair Equipment: Troubleshoot and repair all Mettler Toledo products within the Business Group, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Installation and Maintenance: Perform system and equipment installations, calibrations, and preventative maintenance duties as required, ensuring customer uptime requirements are met.
  • Customer Support: Provide technical solutions consultant and application support to customers and the sales force, resolving first-line customer complaints and invoicing problems.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure vehicle service and maintenance requirements are met, ensuring a safe and reliable means of transportation.
  • Additional Duties: Perform all other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success of the team.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum 2-year college diploma in Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation Technology, or Computer Science, with experience in a technical support role, technical troubleshooting, or technical installation in the industrial electronics technology marketplace.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, transport, and place test weights and equipment of up to 20 Kg, and move equipment of up to 300Kg in 20 Kg increments.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel within Canada and the U.S., with a valid Driver's License.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a commitment to extraordinary service on state-of-the-art equipment.
