Job Title: Technical Sales Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our team at E J Walsh & Co. Inc. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products to existing and potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and contracts to clients
  • Promote and sell our products to existing and potential clients
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine dimensions and material requirements
  • Identify and solicit potential clients
  • Assess client needs and resources to recommend appropriate products
  • Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits of our products
  • Deliver sales presentations and provide product demonstrations
  • Estimate and quote prices, credit, and contract terms
  • Provide input into product design to tailor to client needs
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
  • Train customers' staff in product operation and maintenance
  • Provide clients with presentations on product benefits and uses
  • Resolve product and service-related problems
  • Troubleshoot equipment-related issues
  • Supervise activities of other technical sales specialists
  • Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or services
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales and technical roles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to travel as needed
