Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and estimate the costs associated with truck repairs and necessary new parts
  • Utilize technology such as GPS and other navigation tools to plan or modify routes, aiming to reduce fuel consumption and minimize carbon footprint
  • Handle the loading and unloading of cargo
  • Drive and operate both straight and articulated trucks for the transportation of goods and materials
  • Monitor vehicle condition and conduct inspections on tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other essential equipment
  • Perform necessary brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring all vehicle aspects are managed
  • Execute preventive maintenance tasks to ensure vehicle reliability
