We are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Service Technician to join our team at North Eastern Trucking Inc. in a permanent, full-time capacity. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet by performing regular maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of heavy vehicle systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components. You will work closely with our technicians to diagnose and repair issues, as well as perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks
  • Detect and diagnose issues with heavy vehicle systems
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to achieve departmental goals
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with colleagues and management

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Familiarity with heavy vehicle systems and diagnostic tools
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
