Job Summary

Central Equipment Sales and Service is seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with commercial transport truck systems, including engine, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations, to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of our vehicles.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and recommend preventative measures.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure timely and efficient completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of maintenance history.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial transport truck systems and components.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
