Job Summary

BTS Accounting & Tax Services Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Supervisor to join our team. As an Accounting Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management
    • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
    • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Team Supervision
    • Supervise a team of accounting staff to ensure they are meeting their financial responsibilities.
    • Provide guidance and training to staff to improve their financial skills and knowledge.
  • Reporting and Compliance
    • Prepare and submit financial reports to management and external stakeholders.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws.
  • Operational Efficiency
    • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and implement changes to reduce costs and improve productivity.
    • Develop and implement processes to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a supervisory role in accounting.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a dynamic and fast-paced accounting environment.
  • Work Schedule
    • 30 hours per week.
