We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Security Guard to join our team at a prestigious educational institution in Thompson, MB. As an Education Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and secure environment through regular patrols and access control
  • Enforce property regulations and city by-laws on the client's site
  • Protect client assets from theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues
  • Complete daily reports and incident reports
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Assist with emergency situations, first aid, and other interventions

Requirements:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience in the security industry (an asset)
  • Valid Manitoba Security Guard License
  • Customer service-oriented
  • Ability to work night shifts
  • Leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment
