Physiotherapist - Sports Therapy Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team at Osoyoos Physiotherapy and Active Wellness Centre. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our centre.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and Treat Patients
You will be responsible for assessing patients' physical abilities and developing personalized treatment plans to help them achieve their goals. This will involve conducting thorough evaluations, creating and implementing treatment programs, and monitoring progress.
Supervise and Train StaffYou will supervise and train technical and support staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent patient care. This will involve mentoring, coaching, and providing feedback to staff members.
Manage Equipment and ResourcesYou will be responsible for ordering and purchasing equipment, as well as managing resources to ensure the centre is well-equipped to provide high-quality patient care.
Develop and Implement ProgramsYou will develop and implement physiotherapy programs to meet the needs of patients, including planning and administering treatment programs, and selecting appropriate exercises and apparatus.
Collaborate with Other ProfessionalsYou will work closely with other health professionals, such as occupational therapists and doctors, to ensure patients receive comprehensive care.
Maintain Records and ReportsYou will maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports, including clinical and progress reports, to ensure the centre is meeting its quality and safety standards.
Requirements- Education
A Master's degree in Physiotherapy is required.
ExperienceExperience in sports therapy, orthopedics, and manipulative therapy is an asset.
Certifications and LicensesYou must be eligible for professional liability insurance and have a criminal record check.
Personal QualitiesYou must possess excellent oral communication skills, be punctual, and have efficient interpersonal skills.
