Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our project teams by providing data analysis, aggregation, and reporting expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Data Analysis and Reporting: Provide data analysis, aggregation, and reporting expertise to support project planning decisions and inform stakeholders.
- Process Development: Participate in the development of processes for analysis of project data to meet applicable PHAI project requirements and achieve an acceptable level of data integrity and data quality.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and create comprehensive documentation, including data mapping and process flows.
- Data Validation and Quality: Work with teams on data validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of project data, and perform quality checks to ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy.
- Reporting and Visualization: Generate reports and/or data visualizations, as requested by project teams and stakeholders, and present reports to stakeholders/teams.
- Education: Bachelor's degree with a focus on computer science, commerce, statistics, science, or other similar subjects where computations, Excel, and data are managed.
- Experience: Five (5) plus years in a data analyst role, with three (3) plus years supporting project teams, and experience in dashboard reporting or data visualization.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong communication skills, effective written skills for documentation, highly skilled in planning and prioritizing work to meet various deadlines, and ability to maintain a flexible work schedule to meet project demands.
