Traffic Control Specialist

Axiom Builders is seeking a dedicated and observant Traffic Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Traffic Control Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe flow of traffic around our construction sites.
Key Responsibilities- Direct motor and pedestrian traffic to protect the safety of our work crew and the public.
- Prepare and set up all traffic plans and lane closures, including positioning warning and detour signs around construction sites.
- Adhere to all Axiom Health and Safety policies and procedures, including PPE and clothing appropriate for the elements.
- Assist in the professional response to public complaints.
- At least two (2) years of previous experience in flagging or traffic control.
- Valid Traffic Control Person certification.
- Level 1 First Aid certificate.
- A competitive hourly rate of $32-$40 per hour, depending on experience.
