About the Role

Pacific Total Electric Ltd. is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrical Specialist to join our team. As an Industrial Electrical Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, calibrating, and maintaining industrial instrumentation and related devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Install electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components to meet the needs of our industrial clients.
  • Maintain industrial instrumentation and related devices to prevent downtime and ensure continuous operation.
  • Replace or repair electrical components as needed to maintain the integrity of our electrical systems.
  • Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance to ensure they are functioning within safe and acceptable parameters.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and other related devices to resolve issues and prevent future problems.
  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced industrial environment with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, and lifting to install and maintain electrical equipment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in industrial electrical work or equivalent experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Judgement and decision-making skills to resolve complex electrical issues.
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and ensure efficient workflow.
