Job Title: Corporate Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Financial Controller to join our team at BRC Group Calgary.

Job Summary:

The Corporate Financial Controller will be responsible for leading the financial management of the organization, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. This role will also involve overseeing the accounting function, managing financial risks, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets to achieve organizational goals
  • Manage and analyze financial data to inform business decisions
  • Oversee the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws
  • Manage financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
  • Provide financial guidance and support to senior management
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in a corporate setting
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
