About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Sunset Cafe as a Baker Helper. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our bakers in the preparation and production of high-quality baked goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Safety and Handling: Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to food safety protocols and handling ingredients and equipment with care.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in receiving and storing raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Machine Operation: Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines, and feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers.
  • Packaging and Quality Control: Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers, and check products and packaging for basic quality defects.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean machines and immediate work areas to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Work Details
  • Work Term: Permanent position with regular working hours.
