OPENLANE Canada is a leading wholesale vehicle auction and remarketing services company, operating 14 facilities across Canada. As a Transport Driver, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of vehicles to and from our auction sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive vehicles to and from the auction, reporting to OPENLANE in the morning and traveling with a lead driver to various dealerships to pick-up vehicles and deliver them to the auction.
  • Represent the auction in a professional and efficient manner, providing excellent customer service to dealers and consignors.
  • Ensure vehicle road-worthiness by checking tires, fuel, lights, signals, and brakes.
  • Accurately complete relevant paperwork and maintain contact with customers to ensure smooth transitions of vehicle pick-ups and delivery.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Driver abstract required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and days of the week.
  • Willingness to take out-of-town trips.
  • Ability to drive both standard and automatic vehicles.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with mobile technology.
  • Reliable team player with excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Criminal Record Check cleared by OPENLANE is mandatory.
