We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team at Acute Home Builders Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our building sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Coordinate and schedule activities, oversee apprenticeship training, and ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Team Leadership: Supervise workers and projects, recruit and hire workers, and carry out related staffing actions.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality standards, and that all health and safety regulations are followed.
- Communication: Prepare production and other reports, prepare bids, and communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Operational Management: Manage own company, estimate costs and materials, operate CADD and other computer software systems, and set up equipment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Accurate, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability.
This is a permanent, full-time position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
