About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and implement procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Staff Training: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment to ensure a smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and manage kitchen operations to meet the demands of a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate and Food Safety Certificate.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
