About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Chef to join our team at Aramark. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of pizzas to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Cook and prepare pizzas according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
  • Workstation Setup: Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
  • Ingredient Preparation: Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely use a variety of utensils including knives and operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
  • Food Presentation: Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established guidelines.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures, and clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Customer Service: Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience as a pizza cook or in a related role required.
  • Knowledge: Validated knowledge of the basic principles of pizza preparation, and food safety regulations such as accurate food handling, sanitation, and storage.
  • Skills: Demonstrate basic math and counting skills, and interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
