About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Preparation Specialist to join our team at Rhea Food Services Limited. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of food items, including meats, vegetables, and desserts, to meet the demands of our busy kitchen.
  • Food Handling and Safety: Handle and store food safely and hygienically, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by serving food in a friendly and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience with conventional ovens, deep fryers, and electronic cash registers.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced kitchen environment with a high level of activity.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring the ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
