About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Technologist to join our team at The Peak Group of Companies. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing new products, as well as improving existing ones.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Design and Development: Design and develop new products and improve existing ones to meet customer needs and market trends.
  • Technical Expertise: Apply mechanical engineering principles to optimize product design, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and safety.
  • Test and Analysis: Develop and execute test protocols, analyze results, and drive product improvement.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Produce technical documentation and manuals, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, develop and implement new procedures, and ensure seamless execution.
  • Supply Chain Management: Source factories and set up production of products and raw materials, ensuring quality control.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive product and process improvement efforts, exploring cost-effective materials and design simplifications.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of working experience in related fields.
  • Skills: Proficient in SolidWorks and/or CAD engineering software, experienced with the Microsoft Office suite of products, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
