Job Summary

The Application Technologist plays a crucial role in the success of FPS Food Process Solutions Corporation by providing technical expertise in system design, drafting, and documentation. This position requires strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create accurate and efficient 2D drawings of custom products
  • Verify drawings for conformance to industry standards and design requirements
  • Develop clear and concise explanations of technical concepts for customers
  • Maintain organized files and records of all drawings in our systems
  • Update and maintain existing templates
  • Prepare draft analysis reports with tables and charts
  • Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Able to travel to domestic and international job sites
  • Knowledge of P&ID and refrigeration schematic is a plus but not required
