GardaWorld is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pre-Board Screening Officer to join our team at the Region of Waterloo International Airport in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.
As a Pre-Board Screening Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of the traveling public. Your responsibilities will include:
- Screening passengers and their belongings
- Ensuring non-permitted items do not enter the secure area
- Controlling access to restricted areas
- Responding to alarms and reporting any events or violations
- Participating in emergency operations within the airport
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Be a Canadian Citizen or a permanent resident
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Have a clean criminal record and be eligible for RAIC (security clearance)
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be located near Kitchener, ON or willing to relocate before starting
